Speaking Meaningfully with Today's Youth - A Workshop with Jenifer Gamber
Post-modernism has changed our culture and our communities. Increasingly youth are seeking authentic ways of expressing their faith in the world. They seek faithful communities that recognize the divine in the everyday and challenges them to finding meaning in the world. On Saturday morning, January 31, Christian educators and youth ministers in the Diocese of Southern Virginia will gather to discuss contemporary youth ministry and the role of faithfulness, transcendence and community in the life of a faith community.
Jenifer Gamber is the author of My Faith, My Life and lives with her family in the Diocese of Bethlehem. She was with us last summer at St. Martin's, WIlliamsuburg

Stories help us make some meaning from our lives and the storytelling method used in Godly Play can be invaluable to teachers, clergy, and parents. Join us for an introduciton to the theology and practice of Godly Play Storytelling.
